The simple and sexy martini is one of the few cocktails I enjoy. The Dirty Martini is perfect if you are looking for a cocktail that isn’t too sweet. There are lots of different martinis, they call anything in a martini glass a ‘Martini’ these days but I like mine bold and classic, just how I like most things.
INGREDIENTS
- 2 1⁄2 oz Vodka
- 1⁄2 oz Dry Vermouth
- 1⁄2 oz Olive brine
- 3 Green Olives
A little olive brine adds a salty, savoury flavour to an all-time classic.
HOW TO MAKE A DIRTY MARTINI COCKTAIL
Add the Vodka, Dry Vermouth, and olive brine with ice and shake.
Strain into a chilled cocktail glass.
Garnish with 3 olives.
Simple and strong. Be warned this drink is not for everyone.
At the end of the day I like to enjoy a martini and unwind and I just can’t sit there and ponder life while looking at an ugly glass so here are a few of my favourites.
